Who is a good candidate for PRP?
Men with early-stage androgenetic alopecia (Norwood I–III), women with diffuse thinning (Ludwig I–II), telogen effluvium that has not responded to oral therapy, and post-transplant patients wanting faster graft maturation.
How a PRP session works at our Gachibowli clinic
20–30 ml of your blood is drawn and centrifuged. The platelet-rich layer is activated and injected superficially into the scalp using a fine 30G needle or microneedling pen. Sessions last 45–60 minutes; topical anaesthetic keeps discomfort minimal.
Treatment schedule
Initial course: 4–6 sessions, 4 weeks apart. Maintenance: every 3–4 months. Combine with oral minoxidil/finasteride and topical actives prescribed by our trichologist for best results.
Results to expect
Reduced hair fall in 4–6 weeks, visible density improvement by month 3–4, peak results at 6–9 months. PRP works best when started early — book a hair-loss consultation in Gachibowli at the first sign of thinning.
